SAY IT WITH SIGNS NAMED MONTGOMERY COUNTY’S
JULY SMALL BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
For Thirty Years Palatine Bridge Business Has Provided Trophies, Plaques, Engravings & More
FONDA – Say It With Signs started in 1992, in the basement of Ron Dygert’s home in Palatine Bridge. Over the past three decades, the business has gone from simply making plastic signs and plates to adding a rotary engraver, laser engraver, sublimation printer and heat press. Say It With Signs can now meet the needs of any customer looking for plaques, awards, trophies or personalized items.
For 30 years, Say It With Signs has been providing personalized service, quality awards, signage and engraved products to schools, businesses, organizations and the general public.
Usually it’s Dygert putting together the awards for customers to celebrate, but this time it’s his business, Say It With Signs, which has been selected as Montgomery County’s July Small Business of the Month by County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort and the Montgomery County Business Development Center.
“There’s not enough good things to say about Say It With Signs,” County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort said. “Ron does a tremendous job with his operation and everything he makes is high-quality and top-of-the-line. The county has used Say It With Signs for various awards, plaques and other items and Ron always provides professional service.”
Say It With Signs does it all. On the engraving side, the business can engrave signs, plaques, name plates, ID tags, stainless steel, glass wood, medals, clocks, leather, bricks, drinkware and much more. On the sublimation side, Say It With Signs can produce full color items, such as t-shirts, luggage tags, trophy plates, signs, license plates and frames, as well as full-color plaques and many other gift items.
“We work with many individuals, schools and businesses in Montgomery County,” said Dygert said. “We have remained a small company that specialized in personal service. We have enjoyed the relationships we have developed over the years and have expanded our business mostly by word of mouth from satisfied customers.”
Say It With Signs was started when Dygert purchased a pantograph, in 1992, to engrave plastic signs and name plates. Through the years with the addition of a laser engraver, a sublimation printer and heat press Say It With Signs has evolved into a business with many options.
“Say It With Signs is a great small business,” Montgomery County Business Development Center CEO Ken Rose said. “Ron is a true professional. The service he provides is top-notch and everything that he creates is of a high quality. You can’t go wrong by using Say It With Signs.”
