Last Thursday, December 14, 2023, was the final meeting for Industrial Development Agency board member & co-chair Carol Shineman. Carol has served on the IDA board since 2007. In the that time, she has volunteered her time to the Agency to help benefit the Montgomery County community.
“We really valued Carol’s expertise,” MCBDC CEO Ken Rose said. “Carol has been a part of every big project that has taken place in the county over the past 20 years. I really appreciate Carol’s service to this board and I know I speak for our staff, when I say, we’re going to miss Carol.”
“Personally, when I started on the board, Carol was someone who helped me understand our roles and responsibilities on this board,” IDA co-chair Matthew Beck said. “Carol’s strength has always been the financial pieces of this, but she’s much bigger than just that. She’s been a huge asset for this board.”
