About Us
A little about us
The Montgomery County Business Development Center (MCBDC) is the lead agency supporting economic growth, administering financial assistance and connecting employers and workers to ensure a thriving, prosperous Montgomery County.
MCBDC brings together the services and programming of the county’s Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism, Industrial Development Agency, and Capital Resource Corp. to offer support for prospective and existing employers. The Business Development Center also actively seeks grants for economic development, transportation, disaster mitigation, recreation and other quality-of-life issues for the county and its residents.
MCBDC provides a key link between the local workforce development board and Fulton-Montgomery Community College to help employers recruit and retain workers from the county’s exceptional labor pool.
In addition, MCBDC handles all planning services for the county and its municipalities, giving it a definitive view of available property and zoning. Prospective and existing businesses will find every resource necessary for success.
