The Montgomery County Business Development Center (MCBDC) leads all economic growth in the area with financial incentives and a wide variety of assistance that covers everything from planning to training.
The MCBDC collaborates with the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development and Planning as well as the county Industrial Development Agency and Capital Resource Corp. to offer tax-exempt bonds with low interest rates. The center also actively seeks grants for economic development, transportation, disaster mitigation, recreation and other quality-of-life issues that create incentives.
The MCBDC provides a key link between the local workforce development board and Fulton-Montgomery Community College to help employers recruit and retain workers from the county’s exceptional labor pool.
In addition, the MCBDC handles all planning services for the county and its municipalities, giving it a definitive view of available property and zoning.
Prospective and existing businesses will find every resource necessary for success with the MCBDC, just another asset that makes Montgomery County “Made of Something Stronger.”
