KRUTZ PROPERTIES NAMED MONTGOMERY COUNTY’S
APRIL SMALL BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
Hometown Realtor Has Three Decades Of Successful Business In Mohawk Valley
FONDA – Milt Krutz established a real estate office in Canajoharie, in 1993. Since that time, Krutz Properties, LLC, located in the heart of the Mohawk Valley, has continued to grow and prosper into a successful real estate business.
Upon purchasing the business in 2006, Laurie Weingart and her agents helped grow Krutz Properties, opening additional offices in St. Johnsville and Mayfield, while building their “Hometown Realtor” reputation.
Krutz Properties, LLC, has been selected as Montgomery County’s April Small Business of the Month by County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort and the Montgomery County Business Development Center because of its three decades of operating a successful real estate office to assist residents of the county.
“Laurie and her team of agents have worked hard to make homeownership possible for many county residents and people throughout the Mohawk Valley,” County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort said. “A good real estate agency looks out for the best interests of their clients and Krutz Properties definitely has experienced and knowledgeable agents led by Laurie Weingart.”
Weingart has held her real estate license for nearly 30 years, dating back to the 1990’s, when she was marketing properties to help pay for her college education. After completing her degree, Weingart began a career in nursing, while also continuing in the real estate business. Over a decade ago, Laurie had the wonderful opportunity to purchase Krutz Properties, LLC, and so she left her nursing career and made what she calls “her best decision ever.”
“The opportunities presented to me are immeasurable,” Weingart said. “My agents and I are able to help the people of our community attain their lifetime dreams of homeownership. If we can do this while providing careers for all of our agents, I consider this a win-win and a major part of my philosophy. We feel that embracing the motto “Hometown Realtors” showcases our ability to provide top level service in the local area. Our agents live here, work here and are valued community members.
Krutz Properties is centrally located between the Albany-Saratoga region and the Utica area, serving Montgomery, Fulton, Schoharie and Otsego counties. With 20 sales agents in the field and offices, Krutz Properties is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., but is even open most holidays or anytime by appointment.
“Krutz Properties has decades of experience, but continues to grow and move forward as a successful small business,” Montgomery County Business Development Center CEO Ken Rose said. “It’s no surprise that Laurie and her agents have been so successful because they work hard and provide such a critical service to people who are looking to attain homeownership.”
Krutz Properties has three office locations — 59 W. Main St., in Canajoharie; 2474 State Hwy 30 in Mayfield and 54 E. Main St., in St. Johnsville. They are available by phone at (518) 673-2820, 518-661-6115 or 518-568-2776. More information and listings can be found on their website https://www.krutz-properties.com
