WINNER’S CIRCLE NAMED MONTGOMERY COUNTY’S
JANUARY SMALL BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
Family-Run Fonda Restaurant Providing Outstanding Dining For Nearly Three Decades
FONDA – If you spend enough time in and around Fonda, you have no doubt heard of the Winner’s Circle restaurant. Since 1995, the Winner’s Circle has served up great food and a good atmosphere. A family restaurant currently run by John Anagnostopulos, the Winner’s Circle continues to shine with its outstanding service and excellent dining experience.
Winner’s Circle has been selected as Montgomery County’s January Small Business of the Month by County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort and the Montgomery County Business Development Center because of its consistent great meals and the good times it has provided patrons for nearly 30 years.
“I can’t say enough good things about the Winner’s Circle,” Montgomery County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort said. “In addition to great food, the Winner’s Circle is known for being a great community partner and has opened its doors for numerous events, including our First Responders Appreciation dinner. We appreciate the Anagnostopulos family and are thrilled to give them this recognition.”
The Winner’s Circle is a hit for surprise parties, bridal/baby showers, weddings, anniversaries, retirement parties and more. The only thing that’s better than the food is the service and the employees’ attention to making it a great dining experience. Their specials are always outstanding, including the fish fry, pasta dishes, roast beef and, a recent customer-favorite, the chicken wing soup.
“When my parents, my wife and I started the restaurant we were definitely nervous about taking over a bar and turning it into a family restaurant. Now looking back, we cannot be more thankful for being lucky enough to take on this project in this community,” John Anagnostopulos said. “Our customers, our family, our friends and our exceptional employees have picked us up when we were down, celebrated with us when we were up and have been more supportive than any family-owned business can ask for. On April 16, it will be our 28th anniversary of owning the Winner’s Circle, and knowing our history, it’s evident that we wouldn’t be here without the support of this community. In other words there is no place we’d rather be than right here. Cheers to Montgomery County! Thank you for all of your support!”
Winner’s Circle is located at 3293 State Highway Route 5, in Fonda. You can reach them by calling (518) 853-3094. Winner’s Circle updates daily specials and other information on its Facebook page. They are also available to host event big or small and for all of your catering needs through Jonathon’s Catering.
“Winner’s Circle is a great, local, family-run restaurant,” Montgomery County Business Development Center CEO Ken Rose said. “I’ve known John personally for many years and his family’s restaurant is a staple in the Fonda area. The food continues to be great and has always been highly recommended at the Winner’s Circle.”
