Dollar General has decided to build its 16th distribution center in the Florida Business Park. The project is expected to create 430 new jobs, as well as approximately 200 additional, temporary and constructions positions to build the 750,000 sq. ft. facility. The capital investment is estimated at $85 million. Montgomery County was chosen for the site of this project, in part, for its convenient location to the New York State Thruway, its proximity to the company’s stores and markets throughout the northeast. When fully operational, this distribution center will supply products to Dollar General’s 800 stores throughout the northeast.
